This a good deal?
Was at the body shop today for a different car but got on the topic of my 370z and getting someone to do my new Stillen G3 intake so I got a price to do them and get my headlights painted for a total of $800.00.
Not sure if this is a good deal but I had a quote from the dealership of $225 to do the intakes and I have been thinking about getting the lights done but wasn't to big on shipping them. They will give me life time warranty on the seal of the lights and had these guys do work on my cars before and always A1. Anything thoughts on the price is appreciated. |

that is not a good deal at all.
CAI can be installed in roughly 2 hours. so $160 for Richmond, BC shop rate. There are local Vancouver folks who does headlight stuff for $100 (for painting inner chrome to black) ish with warranty. Total is $260. or is $800 including the intake's price? then that makes sense. |

Nope intakes already purchased, might have to check into who does the headlights in Vancouver in the summer.
I guess $225 at dealership not bad since it will cost me at least $70 in gas to get to Richmond and back. |

If you want to save some $$$, I would bring rims to a sandblasters then to a powder coating place. Intakes, i would have them installed by one of two mentioned above. You can save few hundred bucks with some effort. |
