We make an effort to deliver special order parts in 8-12 weeks, and we've been pretty consistent at keeping to that average. We've never told anyone that anything takes "3-6 months to produce," so I'm not sure where you're getting your information from. Regarding discount levels, our purchasing price does not change order to order; it's consistently the same regardless of how much we buy (or don't). We do not hold orders, they are placed either the same day they are received or within a few days after (depends on the time of the day and the day of the week it's ordered from us). We ship via containers, because as you mentioned, it averages the cost down for everyone. However, unlike many of the other importers in this industry we don't hold our shipments, we ship at least one container every 3-4 weeks. Yes, it's slower, but the cost is significantly cheaper. As a note, there are several users on this board that received Amuse exhausts well within the 8-12 weeks quoted (a couple of them even faster). (FYI: to air freight an R1 Titan exhaust to the US costs almost $1000 via several of the air freight companies - the box is triple the size of the R1000 box you received. To air freight a Vestito kit to North America is around $1400-1800 or more as the box is huge - refrigerator size.) Regarding the build times for Amuse exhausts, they're not simply just "thrown together" in a day or two. I've tracked build time on several R1 Titan exhausts for CZ4A, Z33, Z34 and GT-R (the most complicated exhausts Amuse offers), and it averages out to 3-4 weeks for actual construction time. The R1000 exhausts that aren't "header-back" like the Z34, Supra, Evo 7-9, R34 GT-R etc take a bit less time to build as they're much less complex - long piece of tubing with some bends and a muffler section. As I wasn't the one handling the370z inquiries 2 years ago and the person that was longer works for us; I'm honestly not sure what transpired so I can't comment on that. I'm sorry if you have a particular issue or beef with us, but please don't spread misinformation regarding our delivery times and our costing. We're in this business because it's also our hobby and something we're passionate about. We're not out to rip anybody off or get rich, as it's very difficult (read: almost impossible) for anybody to get rich in the aftermarket parts industry, unless you do manufacturing in China/Taiwan/Thailand etc and mark up a few hundred percent.
