Tire Purchase Question

Hey guys,
does anyone have any recommendations on where to purchase tires? Or are you going to probably pay the same amount no matter where you look?

Bought a used Z and knew I had to replace a tire.. Did NOT expect 650+tax for the bill haha.. the price of style ;)

check out Discount Tire, Custom Wheels, Truck & Car Rims | Discount Tire & Home - Discount Tire Direct

the second place ships free within usa, where you can then cross the boarder to pick up.

Thank you sir!
I will definitely look at them as well.

No matter where u look a good 19 or 20" tire is going to be expensive...... But with u also being from Canada I would try to get them through a place near the boarder so u can save at least a little. Also if your smart you get them to do the instal and throw out the old tires so you don't get hit with the duties coming back across the boarder!

GL let us know if u have any good findings! I'll be needing new rubber as well come end of season or early next year!

Or Discount Tires - Discounttires.com has the lowest prices on tires and wheels, all name brands, and a huge inventory. In most cases, shipping is one to two days graranteed. also has good pricing too.

Bought tires from them personally before, took around 1 week to arrive. Shipped them directly to the shop I go to, and shipping price/duty is pretty fair.

I think you meant to say with the Cdn dollar above par the deal is better than a few years ago when our dollar was only worth 65 cents in the U.S.

Thanks everyone for the information!

I will definitely look into those sites and order some new rubbers while the Z is put away for the winter!

Appreciate all the responses!!

I would ask your tire installer if they are willing to beat Tire Rack's price. Sometimes they do and it's nice to support your local shop.

Good point. I might do that next time!
Worst case scenario I might order some new fronts over the winter from Tire Rack and install them when summer comes around!

I wouldn't waste your time asking your installer to match prices - they just can't.
