Seems to be very few here. been watching. Know one other fellow with a 370 roadster.
This is a very good car. I came from a Boxster and had planned to order a 2012 but no one seemed to know when an order can be placed. My Boxster came off warrranty in May and being without warranty was a scary proposition. In the 2 years I had it it was in the shop more than the 2 Japanese vehicals (8 years service total from them both) combined I had before it. I've got the 370 roadster, touring, sport version and list on a similarily equipped Boxster S is over 35+K more( I bought a 2010 leftover 370 and got a good price)......and I believe the 370 is on par with the Boxster - except for trunk space. The Boxster may have a little more "finesse" in some situations but not 35+K more. Last edited by dbw; 07-17-2011 at 01:42 PM. Reason: rephrasing |

The 370 is a little more "raw" which makes it a very satisfying drive. The Boxster clutch is a little smoother - I'm still working on getting consistantly smooth shifts - I don't use the syncro rev. The Boxster is smoother at high rpm but to be honest I like the feel of the 370 at high rpm (up to 5000 rpm the 370 is very smooth) ....... As a youngster I had a early 1970's Z28, always missed that car, and I am finding that in the 370 I am getting a little of the absolute fun of driving back again. Very satisfying ride.

Actually, one of the very first 370's in Canada was bought by a fellow in the 'Peg. I think his name on here is EVOKILLER. He hasn't been very active in the past year or so.
