Alberta G/Z meet June 18th
 

As the title says Alberta G/Z meet June 18th. As per usual Edmonton and Calgary peeps meet up at 11:00hrs in their respective citys and then cruise to RedDeer to meet at the NorthHill in Parking lot in front of WildBills at 13:00hrs.

We can hang in the parking lot till everyone arrives then head inside for a quick bite to eat and BS session. Then take a little cruise out to Sylvan Lake do a pass of Lake shore drive and park at the north end of Lake short in the new large parking lot.

So Edmonton guys/Gals meet at Gateway Park by the Derrick at 11:00am depart by 11:30am

Calgary guys at the deer foot mall parking lot at 11:00am pull out by 11:30am

PS everyone bring your garage sale items and cash, lets have a little swap meet as well I have tons of shiney stuff that no longer has a home in my engine bay!!!

Nope

Things are looking good for me. Probably 80% sure (early in the week), if nothing pressing comes up. I just hope that the weather holds. The long range forcast early in the week doesn't look promising.

about 2hrs;) Nitrouz and I discussed a 1/2way Alberta/BC weekend meet a few years ago. I would still like to do one of those one day.

What time do people generally leave/get back to Edmonton?

A few of us Alberta boys have driven to Vancouver, you are looking at a 12-14hr drive maybe more usually the construction is brutal....honestly our meets are not that good to justify a 14hr one way drive. Although we would love to see you there one guy with an FX is coming out from Onterio but he was in the area visisting freinds so he planned it so he could hit the meet as well.



Jmac it is kind of up to you some guys leave early some stay and hang out in sylvan for a few hours. But usually we start thinning out before supper time. Last year some people hung out in Sylvan and had supper on a lake front patio.

I'm in the same boat as 6mt if the weather holds up and nothing urgent comes up i'd love to make the drive down should be fun

Good to hear sounds like it will be a real good turn out.....rain or shine :tup: and my car rarely sees rain mostly because I hate to wash it after :icon17:

Well.... I think it will be a morning time decision. I really want to get out on the road. It's been a real hard spring for me with so many projects around the acreage (now all finished). And three cars to service & detail.

With that said... I'll make my decision on Saturday around 9ish.

Sorry everyone, but I'm not going to make it. The weather is just too crappy. One to two inches of rain and temperatures forecast to be only 10 to 12 degrees and very windy.

I'll be in for the next one, if the weather cooperates. After all the work I put in to detail the car, I'm not going to ruin it in the first 10 feet outside my garage. Or freeze my butt off.

sorry for the no show but I got up yesterday and it was pouring. I checked the weather in RD and it was the same thing. I will try and make the next one for sure
