I ordered my car back in January, but unfortunately some things have come up and I'm not going to be able to afford the car anymore. If anybody's interested in taking my car, PM me to work out the details. The car is supposed to be here "in the first weeks of May"

THAT is a easy fix with cooperation from the dealer. Nothing that a bit of money and persistence can't fix. By all means tell ACE and let him get to work. There is no reason he can't have exactly what he wants ....... and so he should, it's his money

Thanks for the info Ace, here's the update.

I talked with the sales manager this afternoon and he assured me that the car has been/is being built. According to him, its because I placed my order so early (January). He also said that my car is going to be one of very few built - I wish he wouldn't tell me things like this.

The sales manager was seemed fairly confident for delivery in May still.

Once you drive it off the dealer's lot there's no way you'll break even with the resale...

Driving it off the lot will be a sure fire way to make sure you do loose money on the car....

Well some more things have come up and I really can't take delivery of the car. I talked with the salesman and the sales manager at the dealership this afternoon, and they WILL NOT return ANY of my deposit. They will only give me credit towards another vehicle but, I really don't need another vehicle right now.

So here it is again, I even got the VIN number while I was at the dealership today.

Since there may be a perceived shortages of coupes in Alberta, you may have success. Try placing a ad in Kijiji in Edmonton and calgary sections and try to recover your deposit.

To bad, that is the exact optioned car I was looking for before I bought mine minus the navi. If someone buys mine I will take that one off your hands. I only have 110 km on mine so far. I have full tint, the full 3M protection, diamond paint, fabric and windshield protection. However, I want what I paid for my car minus the tint, extra 3M protection, diamond paint, fabric and windshield protection I paid for. That is about the best I could do to help you out.
