In my conversation with the lead salesman at WEN, the answer I received was No.
But until Nissan officially announces it's availability ..... it could be a possibility. If it's available in Canada it will be a limited amount with a huge dealer mark-up. It would probably still be cheaper and have a better selection in the USA. Watch the Nissan websites for both countries and that will tell us. I'll take mine in Red, please

Just confirmed with a knowledgeable manager who would know and care.
There will be NO 2009 Nismo 370Z available in Canada as a factory order. Start lobbying for a 2010 option availability in Canada ..eh

Is any one else as dissapointed in this as I am? Why does Canada get the short end of the stick again? I would recommend everyone take the time and voice their concerns to Nissan's Head Office if I thought it would make difference but I doubt it would. Perhaps this issue is for greater minds thenmy own to understand, however, I fail to see why Nissan won't market a simple "Nismo" package to the Canadian line up? I can't see them not selling.

I don't know about any one else, but we are the consumers. We are Nissan's sales audiance for the 370z in Canada. If it weren't for us, they would have "0" sales in Canada. Nissan should be catering to us, not us having to grovel for the interior color we would prefer on our $50K investment. After reading posts for sales experiances within Canada, it would seem most consumers in Canada are rolling over for Nissan while saying "Thank you sir, can I have some more?", mean while were paying too much and not being provided basic options marketed on NIssan's public website. I can only speak for myself, but personally when I am in the market next year for a sports car, the car I buy will be on my terms and not the other way around. I think the problem is, we are creatures of a society that dictates we "HAVE TO" have the newest best product on the market and we will do anything to obtain it. For your viewing pleasure, I provide the following as an example: Sony Releases New Stupid Piece Of **** That Doesn't ******* Work | The Onion - America's Finest News Source In closing, Nissan needs are buisness more then we need theirs. That in mind, Nissan should be catering to us, not the other way around. |

I agree its pretty weak. I suspect however that Nissan isn't making a lot of $$ on the Nismo version (extra work done on the body, etc) and its more of a show piece than anything for Nissan. We account in Canada for about the same sales as the state of California.... but you can get a Nismo in Cali I doubt we'll see a Nismo here... but hope springs eternal and there are some hopeful signs like the 370Z being listed at $10K less than the 350Z bringing it right on par with the US model at the current exchange rate - kudos to Nissan for that. Also I've seen Nismo trucks here in Canada so its possible the 370Z may get the same treatment here......

Let us know if you can order in the body parts or is that going to be exclusive to the NISMO owners? Need the rear wing
