My baby is nice and safe in my driveway, waiting for good weather.

I am driving my winter beater, with snows and loving the fact that I don't care what happens to it.

How much snow did the GTA get? Us bluenosers should have about 40 cms from the back-back storms that started yesterday. I have a 4wd but wouldn't go out as I write this. Warm and toasty in the house and the beer is cold!

We will have had about 20cms when it's all said and done. It's funny cause that almost closes the city down. Almost all Torontian's are fearful of a little snow, guess it's cause most are not used to it

still snowing outside..i guess is 10cm right now...

I did but for a short trip only. Where snow was packed and compressed the car was ok but the streets and parking lots with lots of fluffy snow were unbearable. The car kept getting stuck and was a major PITA to free. I actually had to go down dundee crescent in reverse because the car just wouldnt move forward at all

My how times change. I grew up in the east end of TO. I can remember my dad and lots of others going all winter driving his LeSabre on summer bias ply tires. There weren't any all season nor radial tires back in '60's. Lots of muscle cars driving back then in the winter. LOL, rwd posi's with gobs of torque and HP and no money to buy a beater for the winter.:driving:

Had to test my GTM torque comverter last Sunday. First time car was out in snow on the side roads till i got to the main roads which were clear.
Drag radials and snow (better than i thought) I still have to get the car back to the shop in brampton to get the Tranny fluid topped up.
