umm I wonder how many KM are on it....?

I know the guys around my area(greg vann nissan) that didn't want to sell to me have one with over 4-5000 kms on it. They try to sell it every once and a while. It has had the owner driving it after about 3-4 months of sitting on the lot in the spring. I have I love-hate relationship with the dealership, as in we love to hate each other!

Anyway ya there are probably a few around that are used or "demo". Just gotta look for those interested..... I am was so happy getting mine with next to no kms on it! BRAND F*CKING NEW!!!!18kms!!

When I was in the market for a new car last year, I was really thinking Bmer. I just love the 3 series coupe. But, the reason I didn't buy it - they have to be the most common car on the road, and I hate to be one of the pack. So, I looked for something a little more unique.

Red, yellow, 40th....and now Nismo. One thing I do know, there aren't a lot of 370's around.....they turn heads.....and I'm very happy with my unique car!

ouch 11000! That's high, more then me anyway and I drove it every day (DD) in the summer, until nov 1.

Hopefully the buyer gets a decent deal for that much of a "demo"........

IMO a car that's been demoed=demolished

Yes yes thats the one. lol

Funny thing is, I saw that car before PDI was completed on it, and its still not sold. that was... since April.

I would've taken it if the sales were more pleasing and not acting like cocks.

Sad thing is to many dealerships are this way.......

Side note I saw that 40th on auto trader, I was just looking to see who's trying to get rid of the Z over the winter (& I got a buddy interested in one). Funny thing is that dealership is asking way to much!! I only paid $1500 more for mine BRAND NEW! 18kms........not to mention that they also currently have 1000km more on the odometer! So basically if anyone buys it, YOUR GETTING RIPPED OFF!!!! They are asking way way to much! IMO.....

Used 2010 NISSAN 370Z for Sale In MARKHAM, ON - 3522613 - autoTRADER.ca

Also found another 40th for sale in Ontario! But only 8000kms! and it is a little cheaper....few thousand any way... and its AT
Used 2010 NISSAN 370Z for Sale In LONDON, ON - 3274390 - autoTRADER.ca

And yet another one!! Way way less KMS says only 2500kms! and the cheapest one!! with AT.... they are letting it go for the cheapest yet but its also not a nissan dealership lol!

Way too many people getting rid of their 370 lately... Is the car really that bad?
Impractical, I understand that, but then one should have considered it before buying

It's not the car that's bad but bad decisions in buying a sports car. The Z is not a mule to do the daily chores of getting to work and the groceries. It can be used for that but it wasn't designed for that. First time buyers or those that can't afford a second vehicle realize the Z is not so fun when in rush hour or driving in the snow. The happiest Z owners are likely the ones that own a second or third (mule) vehicle. I do very little spirited driving and I don't track the car either. I have zero issues with the Z. It's a great vehicle and very reliable. My 2 cents.

Hey now. I use the Z as a mule to get to work, and also to buy groceries (not a lot of groceries of course). I'm a first time buyer with no other vehicle. True, the Z sucks in rush hour but I usually avoid driving during these times. I drove the Z on the snow yesterday, and yes it was fun I do LOTS of spirited driving and track the car regularly.

You always see lots of semi new cars on the used car market. It happens all the time. Some people don't like what they bought. Some people cannot afford the financial burden. Some like to try out new cars and basically change cars every couple of years or so. Some move out and travel abroad. Some require more practicality out of their car. Some acquire more wealth and decide to upgrade to something more upscale. Many reasons why people switch cars. It's nothing specific to the Z.

Obviously you don't have a problem double hatting your Z as a mule You enjoy your Z because it's not 'bad". Most folkks do enjoy their Z. For the few selling their Z's, there is a reason but I don't believe it's because the Z is bad. I also agree with the comments in your other post for some reasons why folks purchase and sell their Z's.

Exactly what I mean. Do people really buy a sports car before they are committed to the side effects?

In some cases, yes. They have a dream to own a sports car or whatever. The deal is done and the dream is now a reality and the side effects set in. Imho, any 'dream' vehicle in order to be thoroughly enjoyed must be affordable, not come in between your significant other/family and the realization that it's not practical in the sense that it's a 'like to have' and not a necessity. Also, cars are not normally investments unless you indulge in car collecting. The early Z's are not a highly desirable collectible in general terms when compared to other '60 and early '70's vehicles such as muscle cars. That said, high performance imports are now common like the original muscle cars. So maybe 40 years down the road, the '11 Nismo or 40th Anniversary may become highly valued and sell at auction in the six figures.
