If you're in TO, have it shipped to exhaust shop in states, go install, and then return.
If you need your stock exhaust...have your friend drive back with the exhaust.

Speedstar is my source for all things JDM,
You can also try APH or Nextmod...

Ordering online and having it shipped to yourself, or to a Mailbox in Niagara will save you some money.... but I personally avoid it if I can.

-Supporting your local shops can pay off... You can build relationships that lead to "premium" pricing, further down the road. :D

I don't think paying 30% more for the same product to support local shop to get a "premium" down the road pays off. It's just too much.

Anyways, thanks for all the heads up.

I just bought this 2 days ago from Rick@VIP Status. Having it shipped up to Vancouver for me.

We can ship up to Canada, but it gets pricey considering the size of the exhaust.

We have recently teamed up with a freight forwarder, check them out.

Are you ordering from JRP??:icon18: <- Joke..:hello:
Seriously though, I wouldn't pay 30% more either.. I am curious where you go the quote from..
-You do realize that this product is ordered from japan, right?

GL OP!

Just get it shipped to a Postal office in the states in Niagara, they will charge you a minimal fee and all you have to do is drive over to get. I know you are thinking you will have to pay to bring it over the border, but most likely the border people will just wave you on after a quick check...... this equals no duties and far cheaper shipping, because you are keeping the shipment within the USA. Some companies will even still offer free shipping on lots of large purchases! GL!!
