Both ester and synthetic oils are much more viscous and will do a much better job lubing our engine!

Oil change? Will do in my driveway. Service brakes? I'm assuming this does not include parts and labor costs to actually replace pads or rotors or flush the fluid out. Will do in my driveway, besides that's a pretty good time to upgrade from the crappy nissan pads and fluid. Check the battery? That's what the voltmeter gauge is for on top of the dashboard. Top fluids? Apart from engine oil and windshield washer fluid, which I top up on a weekly basis, no other fluid should need to be topped up in the absence of a leak or mechanical problem. Check tire pressure? A $5 gauge from Canadian Tire does the job. Quote:

Also synthetic oil doesn't really do a better job at lubricating compared to dino oil. Synthetic oil doesn't break down as easily so it lasts longer or maintains its original lubrication properties for longer. In higher heat applications such as our engine and turbo cars synthetic is a must. Just saying to clarify not to nit pick.... but yes use synthetic oil. It's pretty cheap now adays so I use it in all my vehicles regardless.... regular oil changes and changing the oil filter every time is the big one.

when I looked into the oil question of synthetic vs regular, it said that when comparing synthetic oil to regular oil that the same 5w30 or 10w30 would actually be more viscous and less resistant to being passed through the engine and all it's lubed components then the regular oil. but hey either way those two are the best choices...........
