Clear Bra Group Buy
Any one interested in a clear bra group by in Toronto Area?
I asked a vendor and he's charging: $165.00 + $30.00 shipping. Not sure how much discount we can ask but at least same shipping fee. Let me know. |
You have to have an installer. You can waste a lot of money vrey quickly if you dont know what you are doing.
|
I am not a install nor professional, but I done the clear bra on my X5 and it's fine.
It's not easy but just takes time. |
idk what im doing when it comes to clear bra.. it would be nice if someone who know what there doing to work on my car. whats the address and number??
|
Any more people interested? About to place an order. |
Just ordered a kit from invisiblemask.com. Didn't look too bad to install by the video and several friends that have done the install. Guess I'll find out when I go to install.

AK370Z posted the link to exactly where I bought bumper kit, splash kit, and partial hood kit. Prices are posted there too, and they ship USPS to Canada which makes customs much cheaper. Curious if anyone has used this company before and if they have any comments on the products?

I am rather interested in the website. Does anyone know anything about them or of any good shop that can install such a thing?

I may be able to get a deal on the clear bra kits. PM me if you are interested. Shipping would be from Canada as well so you don't have to worry about the Boarder....

I stopped and talked to a guy tonight who just got his Z a week ago. It's the exact car we have on order but with navi. All I can say is . He is an older guy and he just loves his new ride. We talked for about half an hour or so but mostly we just drooled all over his Z :yum:. |
Sweet - did you get his number? We'll have to arrange for a cruise - you can ride shotgun ;) BTW I got the pillars done in the CF stuff I was telling you about. I suspose I need to go take some pics now...

Got the bra put on the hood. We used an 18" strip for the hood. Look pretty sweet... I'll take some pics at the car show on Monday. I'm pumped - a friend of mine is going to park his '73 240Z which he's completely restored. It is one sweet ride...

I tried to get some pics of it but they didn't really show up which I suppose is the whole idea of the film. Anyhow I've got a side view with the sun shining the right way so you can see the line.... http://www.the370z.com/attachment.ph...5&d=1250744743 http://www.the370z.com/attachment.ph...6&d=1250744743 |
Thanks. Yes the red does look good as well on the 240.

...oh and we are waiting on some of the aplicator stuff from Xpel. I think there was an issue with my wax job and the stuff sticking ;) He clay bared the car first but I dunno if the synthetic wax was keeping it from wraping and sticking properly. He's getting an edge sealer product as well that works with the 3M/Xpel so the car will be in for another day and a third application. He wants it just right for the car show on Sunday.
|
An alcohol wipe down will take off any wax before you apply the clear bra.

A silicon remover is even better. I really don't like using silicon based products as they can be a pain in the a** to remove sometimes. I'd stick with a wax, polymer or resin based product.
