I have about 5 months of shotgun riding I think ;). pillars look awesome. I wonder how the fangs would look done in CF. I was in Vic yesterday visiting my Mom, so I stopped by Nissan. I knew they wouldn't have any Z's but we were just looking around. The salesman told me that there were a little less than 100 370Z's for all of Canada. So Canadian's who have 370's are very lucky. He also told us that 2010 inventory for Canada will be about the same. I would have called you but we didn't stay down long.

FricFrac, any word on your clear bra yet?

That's insane! Less than 100 - wow. We are waiting on the software for the cut outs but he wants to put a piece across the hood for the car show on Monday. I said OK ;)

So did you get the guy with the 370Z's number?

Yes I got his number.

Got the bra put on the hood. We used an 18" strip for the hood. Look pretty sweet... I'll take some pics at the car show on Monday. I'm pumped - a friend of mine is going to park his '73 240Z which he's completely restored. It is one sweet ride...

Ask and you will receive - just not right away.....

I tried to get some pics of it but they didn't really show up which I suppose is the whole idea of the film. Anyhow I've got a side view with the sun shining the right way so you can see the line....

Thanks. Yes the red does look good as well on the 240.

...oh and we are waiting on some of the aplicator stuff from Xpel. I think there was an issue with my wax job and the stuff sticking ;) He clay bared the car first but I dunno if the synthetic wax was keeping it from wraping and sticking properly. He's getting an edge sealer product as well that works with the 3M/Xpel so the car will be in for another day and a third application. He wants it just right for the car show on Sunday.

An alcohol wipe down will take off any wax before you apply the clear bra.

Even synthetic? He was saying something about a wax/silicon remover...

NXTAZEE 08-21-2009 10:41 AM

A silicon remover is even better. I really don't like using silicon based products as they can be a pain in the a** to remove sometimes. I'd stick with a wax, polymer or resin based product.

I know most autobody/detail shop combos will not use silicone because of issues on the autobody side...
