Default Sport + Nav... Out the door for $48,197

I just ordered my Hakone White 6MT Z with Sport + Nav Package tonight. They told me I'd be in the April production line, and likely to receive it the first part of May.

The details worked out to this:

$45,533.82 6MT Hakone White + Sport + Nav (Incl. PDI)
$... 120.00 Air/Tire Tax
$... 249.00 Documentation
-----------
$. 2,295.14 5% GST
-----------
$48,197.96 Total

I got it from Sherwood Nissan. If anyone else wants the same deal, print this off and contact Patrick O'Rourke or Mike Mincone. Tell them James C sent ya!

Ours come twin turbo'd with Nitro and lambo doors.

... just kidding ...

It's called currency exchange. If you type "37520 USD to CAD" into google, it will tell you the current exchange value. As I write this, google tells me this:

Quote:
37 520 U.S. dollars = 48 190.6665 Canadian dollars
So after fees & 5% federal sales tax, I will pay the equivalent of $37,520 US for a fully loaded Z.

There wasn't any negotiating really. I sent him the same email I sent out to 16 dealers in western Canada (see this thread), and he responded with his price.

I then removed the optional Nitrogen in Tires and Security Etch, so that dropped it down another $500. He didn't argue at any point, and I just went into the dealership, signed, dropped $1000 deposit and was done.

He was going to see if they could make a request to give me the Persimmon Orange seats in the white car, but I have the feeling it's not possible. We'll see. I believe mine will be on the same delivery as yours.

Man I want Hakone White but I just couldn't live with light grey interior.... FUGLY and gets dirty super quick. I still may get white and dump the seats and get a set of BRIDEs or something. But then I would have to do something about the side paneling.

really? I love the frost white interior. Perhaps if and when we both take the plunge, we could exchange seats and door panels, as i want black with white interior

Interesting proposal. Dunno if I want to take the risk. I might end up getting Prussian Blue instead.
