I'm planning on going in with 5k down and getting the coupe with auto (don't need sport/nav as I have an iPhone) and my offer was 47500 on road. Think that's a good offer? Any idea on what wait time is?
$47,500 on the road ( taxes & Freight PDI incl)
Taxes ~$5465
Freight / PDI ~ $1550 (I think this is what I paid)

List price: $40485.00 for A7 Base

They have only discounted it about $500.00 from MSRP. I think you can get a better deal. I got $2500 off MSRP

Not sure who you are dealing with in Toronto. I got better prices from Economy Wheels Nissan in Lindsay - $1800 off MSRP and Trans Canada Nissan in peterborough ( $ 2500 off plus rust proof & illum k.plates as well) - eventually bought from Trans Canada Nissan.

As far as leadtimes - they probably have 370z's in transit now from Japan. So there should be availability in your colour and style. I ordered mine in late Oct it took to Feb 1 to come in.

Do you know when they came out with the 2.9% interest rate? When I took delivery, my dealer didn't mention any changes in interest rate from 4.9 to 2.9?

Hope this information help.

btw - get the Nav system it is far superior to the smart phones and the back-up cam is a life saver. If you have not test drove on yet, there are some blind spots.

Hey! yes all this info is REALLY helpful for me. The offer I got was 39500+taxes and that's estimated around 47500 for auto. The financing JUsT dropped march 1st so I'm hoping to get signed this Friday. Don't get me wrong I'd love the navi but the 6000$ difference is not appealing, Im a huge enthusiast and I'm pouring out like half my pay on this car (im 23 and been waiting 7 years to buy my first car; I'm no douche who's parents paid my way. I'm busting my *** for this car) and that 100$ a month could go towards gas! Plus can I really use the backup while I'm driving? I only drive 5km (1 way) to work and for the most part it will be city driving. So every dollar saved on my end is a bonus! Plus I do intend on aftermarket products after the cars paid for. Do you use the navi/backup that much? Do u think it would be a valid expense? Thanks again you guys! Much appreciated

Navi won't add any resale value to your car...not worthwhile in the long run. That package is cool though it is overpriced. You could go with an aftermarket back up camera system and something like a Garmin for nav, if you can't afford the $6000 up front.

My original intention was to buy a Z without nav, but my 40th came fully loaded (in Canada). I have to admit, the iPod integration and other goodies that come with the Nav package are cool little add ons. Pre-2011 don't come with back up cam, so I bought and installed the group buy cam recently.

So, it's a judgement call depending on whether or not you want to spend an additional $6000. You can definitely add those functions in aftermarket later on, some of which will look and function like OEM, and others not as much. And, it can cost you less than $6000 to do.

Thanks buddy! I think i will pass on the nav/sport. Save myself like 120 a month (more gas money ) I'm just waiting on my insurance company and hopefully I sign this weekend and will join the fams of Z owners!

SPORT PKG...now that's something I would do all over again (Akebono brakes, aero kit, synchro rev match, 19" Rays wheels) IF BUYING A 6MT. But since you're looking at Auto, that nullifies synchro rev match, so the point is questionable. Plus if you're going to mod your car anyway, you could get better brakes, custom wheels and a different aero kit...good luck on your purchase.

This being your first car, get the best deal you can. I recall buying my first car and being greatful that somebody was lending me money to buy a car. Don't forget you have all the power and if you don't get a good deal, just walk. I think you could push for another $1000 off, that would drop your payments about $25 / month. I went for all the bells and whistles and enjoy the sport / nav combo. As some other posts mention, you could totally do it your way with aftermarket mods. I don't plan on getting aftermarket rims, I like the 19" rays that come with the sport package. The large brake package is sweet too.

Good luck with the purchase and we hope to see you out on the road this spring.

I got mine from Lindsay, last summer Chris Pretty gave me a great deal. It was like 3500 off the list price. At the time nobody was even coming close to that price. I got a 2010, sport package, 6mt with the navi. Honestly, I didn't care to have the navi but it was the only thing available with the other options I wanted and the color. Now, I'm loving the fact that I have the navi, it has some very cool convinent features that are fun and useful.
I'm looking forward to driving her again, when the wetaher gets nice.

I got my quote from Chris too, did you trade in the black on black base? I took that one for a drive to get my appetite wet. I couldn't get him to go any lower than $1800.

We should see each on the road around Lindsay this spring.

Hi There, I traded my RX8 for the 370Z. It was the best move I have ever made, so many issues with the RX8, even though I took extra good care of it.

I'm actually in Toronto. I made the Lindsay connection though a freind. I beleive there was a nicer incentive at the time. Still I'm willing to bet if you shop around you will not get a better deal. Chris is a great guy and really took the time to show me all the tech stuff with the navi and everything.
