My 40th!
 

I picked up my 40th anniversary Z almost 3 weeks ago, and LOVE IT! I am finally posting a couple pics, long story but currently I have no camera so I had to borrow one to take even these. But once I get another one I will do a proper photo shoot!

Hey, I noticed your front license plate is flush with the license plate bracket. Have you tried removing your front license plate off to see if there are two large holes in the bumper?

I haven't checked the bumper yet.........

But an update on the Z, it got tinted today!!!!!! Looks even sexier now, went with 20% all around.

I had the chance to do a new car prep on a 40th and love the purple tinge in the paint and the perforated red suede seats. Amazing car!

Thanks Wes R, I think I recognize ur name form the 300zx club forum where you on there??? I remember a nice detailing thread you had done for "a day with a GTR" was that you??

I love the paint to that is what I loved right from the start after seeing one at an auto show the colour in person is so much better then in pics. The red interior had to grow on me as it led up to my purchase.

So I got my Red GTR start/stop button today, just in time for Z fest tomorrow!!!!

I think it said it was an option on the nissan USA site, but like you said I have yet to see it in any pics! If any one on here has one (USA model) post it!!!! I know they have it on the 40th anniversary's in Asia (RHD) and the 40ths in Europe have it! Europe had a limited run of 370 lol at least they picked a number that sort of suit.

Does anyone have pics of the illuminated kick plates at night for their Z? I have seen a bunch but all day shots in DIY.................

I think this is my next mod, the Stillen Gen 3 CAI can wait because I am still having fun with the car stock I just want to make a couple little minor changes. Like the GTR button looks way better with my red interior IMO and the kick plates will help to!

Yeah that was me :tup:. The illuminated kick plates sound crazy, please post pics when you get that done as well.

I will definitely be getting the illuminated kick plate (door sill) ASAP!!!!!! If any one is looking for electrical work or any 300zx(Z32 TT) stock parts link me.......lol

I don't have a pic with my lights on but I will be sure to add on ASAP (unfortunately not until the spring due to car in storage) also I am not sure if you are asking for pics of the Canadian standard DRL or are you wanting pics of DRL LED strips?

NP there is a good chance that I will be going to get a couple pics of the Z either today or next saturday at my storage so if I do I will hook up a pic of the head lights
