Just spoke with a good friend of mine who tunes 350's and 370's. He seemed to feel the OEM VVEL maps were already pretty optimized without changing the manifold... hmm.

Just spoke with a good friend of mine who tunes 350's and 370's. He seemed to feel the OEM VVEL maps were already pretty optimized without changing the manifold... hmm. Dunno.
It might be goos to make sure the ECU isn't pulling some timing due to light knock -- I believe the ECU is pretty aggressive with that on this car. Could be something like that if the AFR's aren't warbling in step with the torque "lumps". How's it feel under load? Smooth or do you detect any hesitation?
