Getting my new 370z
I am so excited to be finally completing the deal on my new Z. Oh so nice, I went for the base model as I dont want all the bells and whistles just the Z. So excited should be taking delivery next week, hard to sleep at night.

Yup that would be the one, it was on for a decent price so I decided to get it. I was looking at it when it was in Vernon, the day they moved it to K-Town I went down and test drove it. Bought it right there on the spot, $38K is a good price for a new Z I thought plus I have to ditch my leased truck which they did no problem. Never ever lease a domestic truck, the price cuts in half the second you drive it off the lot

Thats awesome. There is no base model in Canada just an option for nav and sport package. What did you get?

Yeah the blue looked really good, I was closing my deal when it arrived at the dealership. the guys are pretty good there. you might have the only blue around so far. Have seen a white, a black and a 40th coupe in town so far.
Did you get them to do the 3M? or anything else? I have ordered the splash guards and the door illuminated kick plates from them waiting for the car to arrive... |

I am going to get the 3M done, I dont want to pay $1000 for it though I have been shopping around for the dealer add-on options. They quoted me at a deal $3000 for all the protections, I am not sure what I am going to do on that stuff. It seems like a good idea but way to much money for a little spray on rubber, wax and leather treatment. With a plastic bra like 3k holly crap???

Totally, I was quoted $1399 for the clear bra on pretty much everything and was able to talk them to $999 for the other 3 things but don't think i will take them. I really don't see the worth of paint/leather/undercoating protection for something I can take care of.
I will look for you around town, don't be surprised if you get a honk from a Black CX7 until July when I get delivery of my roadster lol |

I think in some cases getting the additional leather/fabric protection is a good idea. For example, I am getting a white Z with frost interior and the sales lady said it might be a good idea to get the interior protection because if you wear jeans that have that dye that bleeds everywhere there is a chance that it could rub off on the seat. I was able to get the whole package (interior protection, exterior protection, underside protection) for $749 and over the five year financing it ends up being an extra $17 a month which isn't bad.

thats a pretty good price, I getting the Z in all black..interior/exterior and roof so not to worry about any stains but was a bit leaning to the paint/leather protection just from cracking/weather (wind) damage after time...going read more on the clauses and see if its worth it or not.....
In a previous post I had a reasonable amount of replies its a waste of $$$ and you can get just as good or better products aftermarket for 1/10th of the cost...On thing I am getting for sure is the 3M everything else is a "we will see" once the Z arrives.... Ok, here is the deal on dealer paint and interior protection. IT'S A HUGE RIP OFF. I've been in the detailing business for many years and can tell you they use about 1 dollars worth of cheap polymer sealant on your paint and wipe the leather with a cheap conditioner and charge you an arm and a leg. Total time spent on your car is about 45 minutes. If you don't want to seal the paint your self and condition the leather, then go see a reputable professional detailer who will do a much better job for far far less money.

Took the new Z out for a rip today, went to Osoyoos fun roads for sure. It is super hard to keep the car at the speed limit, my wife was given me crap. The best car I have ever driven with out a dought, the road noise is not that bad. Stereo kicks butt for stock, I was going to spend a few g's on upgrading it and now I don't think I will. The blue looks amazing, very happy with my purchase. I was looking to get my third new truck for 50k+ sure glad I bought a 5k truck this time and spent the dough on the Z, I can not justify spending that kind of money on a truck no problem on the Z though, smartest thing I ever did.
