My factory order was 93 days. I live in Alberta, so not as far to ship as Ontario. Probably can add a week to Ontario. There have been some who have waited 120+ days. But that was last summer (2009).
Good luck!

if it has to be made from the factory, usually 2-4 months. but if they can get it from somewhere else in the country, just a few days

Interesting!
Thanks for the info! I'm just thinking how far I need to order in advance if I wish to pick up the vehicle in December/January. If it's 120 days, I'll need to order at the end of summer. |

From what I understand you have to get the dealer to check production time on the model/color....not every make/color is produced every month.
My order was for a triple black roadster w/sport/nav I got lucky because there was one produced for a Quebec dealer that my dealer was able to trade for and have arrive ~June/July. Now if that was wasn't already requested/produced I would be looking September/Oct for delivery. |

I ordered my roadster on Tuesday last week. The dealer which I bought it from keeps telling me it's on a carrier being shipped from the other dealership from which an inventory swap was made. Crossing my fingers it'll be here before the end of the week.

When I ordered mine the manager said it will come from Ottawa to TO but after patiently waiting slightly more than 3 weeks the car finally arrived and on the label on the wind shield it says from Montreal! Don't know what happened there but just glad to get it

I ordered a 2010 White w/ Sport. The dealer said it's on a boat from Japan. Any idea on how long the transit time is for that assuming it was on the boat and shipped as of Monday? I'd imagine going from port --> Calgary --> dealer is a matter of a few days though I could be wrong.

This is time line of mine Ordered March 10 car.
Car was shipped at sea March 18. 21 days at sea Arrived Vancouver port April 8th. 14 days to go across B.C. Delivered on a small 4 car flat bed trailer April 21 South Eastern BC. Your dealer can track your Vin# an know its location anytime,it wont tell him where at sea it is but it will tell him that its isn't in port yet Expect yours to be at least 4 more weeks to be loaded on a freight car, transported across Canada, placed in a ware house parking lot until it can be shipped to your area. Dealer told me because it was sold I would get my car fast because it wouldn't have to be transported by rail across Canada. Btw I got mine so fast that the Vin# hadn't been registered with insurance data bases, when I went to insure it the insurance rep had to manually input it into the Canadian data base she said.
