Going to the dealer tomorrow. Need input.
Hey everyone, as the title states, I'm going to the dealership tomorrow to talk about getting the 370Z. I'm probably going to go with a 5 year lease, so I was wondering how much I SHOULD be paying monthly, so I could compare the info some of you may give me vs what my dealer will offer to me. Any help is appreciated!

I would go in to talk about a purchase. Get the price somewhere close to your range, then hit him with the lease...

Should just go to Nissan canada and play with the Payment tools, I found that they are very close to what the deal will offer minus insurance and any additional add ons like 3M protection and such.
One thing I have noticed is that the 3yr lease is a lower % rate then the 4-5yr, even though this won't make a huge differance in interest paid but compare the payments |

I hope things work out for you but isn't five years an awfully long time to lease? Have you crunched the numbers to determine what will save you more money over 60 months?
Not making judgements here, just speaking from leasing experience....the shorter the better, given that all you're doing is paying for the company's depreciation costs. Again, good luck! |

The payment calculator is giving me a price of $800- $1000/month. But the thing is that, our murano which was $50-odd thousand, is only $500/month on the lease. That's why I was wondering if any of you guys are paying a rate that's according to the payment calculator, or something else. And the lady we are going to so far gave us the best quotes out of all the dealers we got in touch with.

The calculator on the site is shiat, go in and talk numbers. Be stern but make sure you have a final number (which isn't too low.. do your research) and if they are not willing to meet you, just leave the number and your name/phone on his desk and walk away. Go to another dealership and talk numbers with them.... I've done the dealer to dealer war before, it works! I know you want the black cherry also which is 2010, you would have a better chance of a bargain on an 09, if you're trying to keep your price down.
One other thing, get the idea of leasing out of your head.... it would be wiser to buy on with a decent rate and sell the car in the end than lease and lose your money plus maybe have to pay extra on overage in KM's...... trust me when you get the car you will not want to stop driving it! Good luck! Hope to see ya out rollin at the future meets! http://www.the370z.com/canada/15359-...n-ontario.html |

Update: got the car financed, right now it's in the shop getting detailed, clearcoat, rust protection, spoiler & intake. I went for the 09 model w/diamond graphite color and beige interior. Looks soo sexy turned out that black cherry paint actually looks like total crap.
Getting the car back on Wednesday!!!!! |

Yep yep, the clear bra stuff. This is going to be my daily driver for the next 5 years so I want that car protected against anything. Plus they guarantee it for 10 years. Which means if there's a spot of rust on the car in the next 10 years, they fix it for free.
And I paid $42k and change for the car. |
