Has anyone else called XM Canada to renew/set-up/continue their radio subscription and tried to add the NavWeather service as well? I was really looking forward to this (Navtraffic would be nice too, unfortunately Edmonton isn't available yet still just Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver) when I found out our cars supported it. When I called though, the XM rep said she had no idea what I was trying to get, then finally checked around and said it was USA only.
I can understand the NavTraffic service only being available in major metropolitan areas and spreading out as the traffic data collection systems slowly spread to other areas, but something as simple as a weather info service? There is no reason this shouldn't be available across Canada as it is in the US. I can't be the first or only one to try and get this cool feature! ![]() |
