AMUSE R1000 single exit exhaust review
Hey guys,
I just installed R1000 exhaust from amuse. This exhaust is single exit exhaust constructed using titanium. It weighs roughly around 13lb. When I was placing an order with AMUSE head office located in Tokyo, Japan, I was told that this exhaust is very loud and circuit use only. However I kind of knew how loud this exhaust would be due to straight flow design, so proceeded ordering with them. The delivery took exactly 14 days from the date of payment was made. Today, I went to customs to clear my duties and taxes so that my shipment could be picked up from a warehouse located a block away from the customs. I paid US$1800 for the exhaust(including airfreight to Vancouver airport) + $150 for the duties and taxes(13% tax here in British Columbia) + $180 for the installation(charcoal filter had to be removed from its original location and then relocated to the center of the vehicle and this process required custom made bracket.. the guy at the shop literally created a state of art bracket). Video clips will further explain what the exhaust is like.. The first clip is first start after installation. The second clip is revving up to 4000rpm after properly warmed up. The last clip is revving up to 5000rpm outdoor to get the actual loudness of the exhaust. My camera is kind of crappy for taking videos.. This exhaust sounds very unique, somewhat exotic AND LOUD. Please enjoy and tell me your opinions |

That's a sweet exhaust man!
Will you be posting anymore videos? Maybe drive by's and interior drive shots? Overall how do you like it so far? Do you feel there's a big difference that's worth $2K |

sorry but im not a fan. I'm not a fan of loud exhaust systems, that plus the fact your rear valace has a spot for 2 exhaust tips and now you only have one so it looks kinda gay.

The difference is clearly noticable since it shredded so much weight + a lot less restrictive design... I will post some drive shots soon, but gotta find a place to really step on the gas. |

I find it kind of funny that you're not a big fan of loud exhaust systems but have ricer mods of 5% Tint, Blacked out head lights, Tinted Tail lights, 8000K HID, Chromed amber turn signals,,, EH? People have different opinions on different things, I know that. BUT it's not very nice to call someone elses car gay. YOU're the gay one for doing those ricer mods to your car + talking **** about other person's car. At least I don't do that douche bag stuff. Cheers, Alex |

Nice, you should get some videos up with better mic setup asap. I don't know about Canada's decibel law but that **** sure won't fly down here in Cali.
