Question?
How hard was it for your guy to build that custom bracket? and how would I get one here in the US?

When I was placing an order with AMUSE head office located in Tokyo, Japan, I was told that this exhaust is very loud and circuit use only.
However I kind of knew how loud this exhaust would be due to straight flow design, so proceeded ordering with them.
The delivery took exactly 14 days from the date of payment was made.
Today, I went to customs to clear my duties and taxes so that my shipment could be picked up from a warehouse located a block away from the customs.
I paid US$1800 for the exhaust(including airfreight to Vancouver airport) + $150 for the duties and taxes(13% tax here in British Columbia) + $180 for the installation(charcoal filter had to be removed from its original location and then relocated to the center of the vehicle and this process required custom made bracket.. the guy at the shop literally created a state of art bracket).

The exhaust sounds so sick!! I bet you piss off you neighbors like no other!

One question, how'd you order directly from Amuse; usually they don't talk to international customers directly. Also, by the way, they're not in Tokyo.

I find it kind of funny that you're not a big fan of loud exhaust systems but have ricer mods of 5% Tint, Blacked out head lights, Tinted Tail lights, 8000K HID, Chromed amber turn signals,,, EH?
People have different opinions on different things, I know that.
BUT it's not very nice to call someone elses car gay.
YOU're the gay one for doing those ricer mods to your car + talking **** about other person's car. At least I don't do that douche bag stuff.
Cheers,

Alex

Video clips will further explain what the exhaust is like..
The first clip is first start after installation.
The second clip is revving up to 4000rpm after properly warmed up.
The last clip is revving up to 5000rpm outdoor to get the actual loudness of the exhaust.
My camera is kind of crappy for taking videos..
This exhaust sounds very unique, somewhat exotic AND LOUD.
Please enjoy and tell me your opinions
too bad you dont have your Z anymore alex. would have liked to hear that exhaust in person. Are you planning on putting a similar sound for exhaust on your 1M?

That Amuse single exit set up is sick!! I have a dual exit full titanium exhaust, with straight pipe/no rear mufflers, and it is loud, but not that loud. Did you ever get hassled by the police?
My set up is about 14 pounds, and I agree with you, that the weight reduction makes a big difference.

I personally really liked the exhaust note except it being a little too loud that I couldn't use it on regular track day @ mission raceway due to their weekdays noise level regulation set at 95dB so I had to let it go.
Anyways, to answer your question, NO. I'm going to shred some weight, moton coilovers, set of track wheels, Hoosier R6, bucket seat, bolt on roll cage, brake upgrade first to see if I can keep up with GT3 RS in the Group A. If I can't, I'm going to get Akrapovic full titanium and some good ECU tune.

for those of you who's gonna decide to be an ignorant **** and say "1 //M is no where close to GT3 RS... yadah yadah and I never been to a track nor I will never go to track because I'm too pussy to race legally with real men, instead, i video tape my highway pull all night and street race riced out civics and neons driven by highschool kids!!". The racetrack I take my car occasionally is a relatively small track with lots of technical corners and even supercharged miata can run side to side with GT3 RS.(driver matters too, but yeah).
