I just delivered a factory order 370 in 8 weeks, which is how I know that it is possible. Do some people wait longer? Certainly, but as I said before, it depends on the stage of production, and the allocation. Quote:
That had nothing to do with me, which the article clearly states. Those people have been fired, and are being prosecuted. Everyone that was involved was aware of what was happening, no buyers were taken advantage of, they were paid for the use of their information. Here is clear tone for you: It's pretty ignorant to make blanket statments about an organization, based on past actions of 3 terminated employees. Our dealership is number one in the GTA for client satisfaction. There is nothing shady about that. Last edited by BLUE KOMODO; 04-13-2010 at 04:48 PM. |

So, you want to sell cars to members? Then give the members $500 over invoice. Now, that is helping members! Us Canucks just keep getting facked over and over. There is a US form member who works for Nissan Corporate. He can offer members VPP pricing, usually well below invoice at participating dealers. And there still making a profit. But what do we get up here? Jack sh1t! So why not take the lead and offer the members special pricing? Balls in your court. Don't drop it.

As far as the accusations of fraud goes... people can make up thier own minds. My advice is to do the talking with your wallet and try someone who has not been accused and convicted of "shady" dealings. As an earlier poster put it... "not a very professional reply". Maybe, just maybe, you should ask AK (the owner of this forum) if you can apply to be a forum vendor. Like all the rest of the legitimate businesses on this forum. Your admission of "using buyer's information and paying them" to sell vehicles to others, may have an influence on that decision. I'm not trying to be rude. Or demean your business. But a lot of us have had the experience of ordering their Z and having to wait. We can smell if something doesn't sound right. And your statement of getting a factory ordered Z in 6 to 8 weeks and doing it dozens of times, just sounds a bit strange. I hope that's a polite enough way of putting it.

It doesn't seem like you're familiar with supply and demand. If the allocation of a production run is exhausted, then you must wait for the next production run with an available allocation. If you're lucky, it's the next one. You said it yourself, you ordered too late at that time. The demand this year, is nowhere near where it was last year. Again, I had nothing to do with that, and no real customers were affected. I think you may need to get hooked on phonics for first read comprehension. I made no admission, and was not involved; it was clearly there in the article. I'm not trying to be rude either (trust me), but you seem a little jilted by your bad experience which none of my customers have had to endure, having been properly consulted. Not all those factory orders were Z's, and I hadn't stated that they were. Again, it depends on the allocation, and the stage of production. |

Blue Komodo, if you wish to stay on this forum please sign up as a dealership and then you can talk to people about buying/trades/etc.

Hey, 370_Fan. You said "What is the wait time for a fresh off the boat car? I'm seriously looking at getting a new car in May. My max waiting (patience) time is about a month, is this doable? Is $500 over invoice doable?"
And I said "So, you want to sell cars to members? Then give the members $500 over invoice. Now, that is helping members! Us Canucks just keep getting facked over and over. There is a US form member who works for Nissan Corporate. He can offer members VPP pricing, usually well below invoice at participating dealers. And there still making a profit. But what do we get up here? Jack sh1t! So why not take the lead and offer the members special pricing? Balls in your court. Don't drop it. And he said: Maybe I'm putting words in Blue Komodo's mouth. However, if I were looking for a Z, I'd be on the phone without haste talking to him!

I must ask.. how old are you and how long have you been in sales?
-If you cannot manage having a conversation, without feeling the need to talk down to someone. I say you leave the forum for the big boys.... Kids should go home and wash the sand out of their puss* if they can't handle having a discussion like adults. You lack maturity and professionalism.. Instead of implying that you are here, trying to "help the community".. Try to be (at the least)honest with yourself and just admit that you are here on this forum to try and generate sales. Mind you, there is nothing wrong with making $$... just remember that many members on here have been around the block.. several times.. so any attempts to deceive, may be snuffed out fairly quickly. You imply that you have sold dozens of pre-orders and received them wihtin 6-8weeks?.. now your story is that these were not all z's? -How is that relevant to the statements made by others who had to wait, extended periods of time? I can tell you it has none, yet you were so verbose and shot back antagonistically, challenging there intelligence.. I see you are willing to offer $500 over invoice.... Please post up your contact info.. I have 2 friends who are looking into purchasing this year.. I will be purchasing next year.. Edit: just saw the post above me.. Perhaps after you have signed up for vendor status.. you can post up your business info.. I am sure MANY ppl will want your services.
