Buying a 370z in the states?

I was searching since last year of November and the cheapest one I found was 42K used plus tax and it wasn't fully loaded. I have a fully loaded Z for 39K out the door with 4000 miles. Warranty intact. I tried haggling dealerships and you know what they know the Z is a hot car, its rare, and people who want it will deck out the money for it so good luck trying to low ball them.

There is a loaded '09 370Z on the lot here for $39,990 sticker with 7,000 KM (4400 miles) plus it's Canadian with the fog light integrated, Daytime lights, etc. Anyone on the West Coast looking that's a good option rather than getting it from the US for about the same cost and less hassel....

you can find a base model for around 25k. In Canada you cant' find this car for less than 40k. The price difference is substantial.

Ya, the one I'm getting is loaded as well (Sport Package, Nav, M6) and is 33,500 usd. I can't find anything anywhere near that price in Canada.

33,500 USD is actually 36,670 CND when you add the 2.5% on the exchange rate (banks) and 6.2% for Japanese vehicles plus $100 for A/C. That's not including flying down to inspect the vehicle, having someone import it for you, etc, etc. So before you've gone through any of the hassels and other expenses there is only $3000 difference between the two vehicles ($37K for yours and $40K sticker on the lot here). I'm sure you can get at least $1K off sticker and when you start adding up the other stuff like getting Daytime running lights, rear fog light and all the other items and there isn't much difference....

Thanks! I'm quite pleased with the car and must say the 370z lives up to my expectation.

Man I wish I saw that price listing, for $39,990.00 its not to bad. I mean after tax it's going to still be around $44K plus import cost from BC. Right now my total is under 39K for everything. So lets just say I save 5K that's a lot of money (for me at least), that's extra money that could be used for an exhaust system, air intake, tint, and some Zaino polish. When I made my purchase it was 30K OTD and the exchange rate was 1.01. Last week it was 0.98 at one point so if you wait for the right time I'm sure you can buy USD at a good price.
