I managed to get the 3" down pipe tacked up, looks very good IMO:

I still have to figure out where the scavenge pump will be mounted, and the wastegate routing/configuration. I will also have to build an extra exhaust hanger that will probably mount to the back of the transmission, so that it holds the weight of the turbo. Would rather not have the headers holding it up there alon.

Got a bit more work done the last couple of days.

Port matching: perfect..and everything gets back purged (the proper way to weld tubing) with argon to ensure very smooth joints
on the inside. No back purge= "sugaring" on the inside

Any time two solid exhaust banks are joined together a flex pipe is a MUST, so the passenger side looks like so:

The whole thing comes off by removing 6 header bolts and one V-band clamp

The two wastegates will join on the driver side where the transmission ends. Then the single 2" dump tube will be routed in to the down pipe.

I also finally met (face to face) the soon to be owner of what will be my (well, his) 370z turbo kit. After going through all the details and confusing him with the wastegate operation explanation, I think he is excided to get this project started as I am. April should be a good month.

Recirc is just about complete. Just have to weld in the 2" V-band and one end of the flex coupling:

Very happy with the clearance, you can see a bit of the 3" down pipe but that is about it. Nothing stick below the skid plates:

Recirculating dual wastegates is the way to go and your design looks very kool. I'll be re-doing my exhaust manifold in the near future and it will be similar to this! Are you going to wrap or coat your pipes? What type of piping are you using again? Lovin it!

Yeah, it was a PITA to do, and I have some more ideas for the next DE kit. Will come back to it later on this year. This kit you see here will go on a built block and a 6766 PTE T4 Turbo. Should get some great numbers out of this setup.

I do not plan on wraping things, the customer may. The pipes are 304ss 2" .065" wall tubing. Built to last.

Subbed and what if someone wants open dump pipes? Or want to keep the dual exhaust setup of the stock 370z. I personally don't like a single exhaust sticking out with a hole on the other side.

Oh and the work you do looks amazing. Plus, I wish I lived close to you. I would jump all over this deal.
