The idea here was to make it a very easy/simple to install/remove. The other very important thing is that the exhaust banks are separated all the way, and the exhaust piping length from header to turbo is the same (within 1/2").

Now on to the good stuff..

Passenger side section:

There is still a lot of room here:

All new 66mm turbine wheel:

I will be able to use the all new Precision 6266 or 6766 T4 turbs, with the following a/r housing options: .84, 1.0, 1.15 and 1.32.

I plan on using a single Precisoin 46mm wastegate with this setup to keep the cost down. It will also be easier to recirculate back to the down pipe for those not wanting all the noise.

The main reason for doing this on my car is to get an idea of how the 370z kit will go together because this is very close to what the 370z kit will look like as well. I really like the way it turned out, and this will be a very efficient kit. Because the two banks are seperated all the way through to the turbine it will work almost like a twin turbo kit.

Thanks.

No, I have a bunch of these in stock. Bought them a while ago and they just happen to work out so well for this. 3" neck wtih a 20deg built in elbow.

Oh I just noticed the JTran build in your sig. I remember that...I am on the "other" Z forum. I am Boosted Performance (vendor) there. You gusy went over the transmission for te crossover, and I didn't like that because the install/servicing would be a PITA. I like to make things simple. You guys used a GT4088 I think, also twin scroll. That car moved very well at the drag strip, nice driving too.

Has anyone w/ a 370 contacted you yet? If I were up North I would have jumped on this in a heartbeat. Welds look great and you got the physics down pat. If/when you get your hands on a 370, try to get a baseline dyno number and then an after install/tune dyno. I would love to see the actual gains, so many people on forums post stupid numbers w/ no real backup or clear example of how much power was really gained. I know it's going to laydown some great numbers and boost response will be good w/ your manifold design. Lowmount single snail ftw!

Thanks, and yes I do have a 370 lined up for all of April. If all goes to plan, I should have a production low mount kit for the 370Z out in about 3 months.
As for the dyno, I know what you mean. There has been some recent dynos posted with a top mount on a G37, and I must admit the numners look out of wack to me. It is easy to make any kit look good with an in-house dyno.

I will see if the owner of the 370z would want to put it on the dyno before fabrication starts.

That's exactly what I mean. S&R's dyno reads almost 100whp higher than our Mustang Dyno, but a lot of people know that about their dyno already. 525whp @ 7psi and claiming it was the UpRev tune that accomplished that is LOL! Overselling w/ deceiving numbers is lame. Their kit looks good but a baseline of that G37 was probably 375whp.

Good luck w/ everything. Business should pick up after you finish the 370!

Tell him/her I'll throw down for some baseline pulls. Shouldn't be too bad $60.00, 3 pulls, lol? I got your back, paypal ftw! I just think it will be that much easier for you to sell the kit/silence the haters! I have no doubt on the power as my kit is similar ;-)

Just read this, yea that car made great power and the customer did some great driving. Too bad he wouldn't take Johnny's advice and step up to a more adequate fuel system for the power he was putting down. He blew his motor, sold the kit and the car. He's starting over w/ a 370 probably. Yes, your kit will be way easier to sell to the masses, as install will be easy, less piping, no modifications or taking things apart and putting back together and w/ better spool up time than the STS and S&R design, IMO. Should have no problem selling a few kits, let us know what you plan to include in a "kit" when you get around to it.

This should be in FI section, another option for the VHR!
