This is my engine bay, on my car and how all others look with this kit:
Billet PTE turbos: I am the only person to offer these, as all others offer the old cast compressor wheel turbos. Also use one of the larger intercoolers on the market, vertical flow, identical in size to the APS TT systems. The core measures 25"x9"x3.5". |

Give you guys a bit of a teaser:
This is something I am working on my own (350z) car at the moment. At the same time this is very close to what the 370z turbo kit will look like, and where the turbo would be located. it is above the front skid plate, so the is simply no chance of it ever hitting anything. This will also be a first on any N/A Z's, as I will be using a true twin scroll turbine with equal length primaries, utilizing the VQ's pulses (firing order) to spool up the turbo. I plan on completing the hop pipes by the end of t his week. Don't mind the open T4 turbine housing as I am still waiting for the twin to show up. I think the 370z has more room to work with as well, because the lower sub frame is one piece of aluminum. |

I have been driving my car for over two years with the filter in that location, in all kinds of weather, and never had any issues. Neither have any of my customers (about 20 with the same kit). Last edited by Boosted Performance; 02-13-2012 at 07:52 PM. |

I have my filter in the same location w/ no issues and GTM Stg. II s/c filter sits in same location. If you order the GTM Stg. II engine mount for the passenger side it will free up room to run piping forward to the bumper area or wherever you choose to locate the filter. I will be ordering the mount as soon as it becomes available on their website. I'm sure we could have fabed one up, but GTM has already done all the leg work making life easier.

That is the prototype, and I have a built set waiting to go in my own car. Although these look like solid mounts (and they are) they are about 1/2" shorter than OEM. I plan on using a special, very hard rubber compound between the mount and engine sub frame. This will stiffen things up, yet keep the unwanted vibrations/noise to a minimum, because the rubber will act as a damper. Like you said, it creates a ton of room when installed over the OEM mounts. If I have the donor car long enough, I can look in to this, as well as a differential brace. All of these will be free of course for the donor car. Sweet I wish my garage roof was tall enough for a lift too
Sounds good Sasha, I should have the rear suspension member piece off and the diff removed in late March or April. I'm planning on installing the SPL rear diff bushing kit, DSS axles, and maybe the SPL Monoball bushings on the rear axle housing. I know there is no room to work with the pieces in the car (been there) and since it will be 3/4 apart anyways ...... a hydraulic press will be a lot faster than trying to do the diff bushing by hand with garage tools. Any good places that have a hydraulic press, that can do the job?
