Why tint?

@ Florida_GATOR: it does look badass

If you paid $100 for 5%, was it only for one window? how does the percentage grading system work? I saw some cars with 30% tint and it looks lighter than 5% tint. I thought the higher the number, the denser the material should be therefore resulting in a darker tint? thank you!

But it was $100 for Windows all the way around and the strip at the top. And as for percentages, the lower the darker. Limo is about 3%...and the legal limit in Florida is like 30% or 35%.

I tinted mine primarily to avoid on-lookers from being tempted to break-in and steal stuffs inside.

For looks, try and limit the heat(southern California), and privacy. I have not driven a car without tints... ever. Even in my family, everyone has the tints, but for them it's mostly for looks.

... but it really is awesome when other people can't see you...

ahhh mischief... That is until the cops pull you over and cite you for it
