Just curious... What did YOU buy with your tour money from Afghanistan? Did you buy a car

I was never deployed (retired almost 6 years ago). But.... a sex change?

inside joke I guess. There is a certain MWO that switched teams a few years ago. Really good soldier and she still is... just a little weird though....

I bought a Z, and a Caribbean cruise for me and my wife! Money very well spent!

...next tour should help with my daughters University costs

I'll probably spend some money on a few mods but the rest is either downpayment for a house or paying off my car.

Also i was just told im being loaded onto a Leopard C2 Gunners course on March 15th...get to fire Sabot and Hesh rounds on the 19th - 23rd in good ol' Wainwright. Then ill be going to germany for 4 weeks to do the Leopard 2 120mm Course. Then going to afghanistan with C Squadron as a gunner

Congrats on the courses Snakes. I been there (as FCS) for both and they can be fun. Noisy, but fun! C Sqn is pretty good. Nice bunch of guys too. I was with them on TF1-09. The A6 is a lot more powerful and as a gunner you will appreciate the lack of hydraulic pump between the legs!
Kudos to you for planning on a house! Good investment for the future. Just make sure it has a nice garage for the Z!

Man i dont care if the house is falling apart and a crack head lived in it, as long as it has a nice garage for the Z and my ZX6R...thats all i care about, haha. I never really spent any time in the gunner's seat in the C2...i did my drivers course and that was it, but it looks very tight...lol. I would love to get a twin turbo kit for the car but i think a house is more important at this point. I dont ever want my Z touching snow again.
