the block heater has a long cord with a 3 prong plug at the end that sticks out from the grill from the bumper. You dont have to take anything off, just plug in a extention cord to the plug and then plug it in a socket. In the picture below you can barely see the plug, its attached to one of the blades of the grill

Somehow mine is right behind the driver side intake.

I guess I could run it down to the bumper grill.

well i ran mine on the driver intake as well....looked ugly sticking out the bumper.

just found mine today. had no idea it even comes with one! is this something that comes from japan or is it installed by the dealer as aftermarket? neither the nissan website, nor the owner's manual mention anything about a block heater.

i think its installed on all new cars but im not sure.

I think it's blockheaters are installed on all Zs destined to Canada. I remember reading somewhere blockheaters in Canadian Zs were a standard equipment.

IDZRVIT where in halifax do you live, i use to live in Timberlea, then fairview, the spring garden rd...lol. **** i miss halifax.

lol, when i was doing security i had to empty all the parking meters, was walking down that street with like $5,000 in a tin can...they wouldnt let me carry my pistol either.
