I have a FedEx account and have used it like that many times.

Just got a shipping quote back from concept Z on a Top Secret Intake. UPS (which I hate but I digress) slow shipping (10-20 days) $45, fast shipping (2-4 days) $63. I wouldn't call it terrible. There are other resellers I've seen much much worse.

An $18 difference is not much considering you will have the item asap.

I upped my quote request quite substantially. Asked what they can do in price as a few other places are cheaper on some items. Will see what they come back with in terms of price and shipping cost.

Yeah I have no problem paying the difference in that case.

Do what you want but I would only purchase parts from bug names. Whitehead and RJM and BP turbo.

Other than that you need to go usa providers

Yeah I have never found any really good vendors for parts in Canada for any of my cars. They just aren't competitive which is crazy when the exchange is 30% and then you have shipping and duties...

I thought that you could only buy items and parts for VW's at the 'bug' store?:rofl2:
As far as I am concerned, why give some of these local shops/retailers an opportunity to mark up and charge you a premium for the same parts you can buy online? I am all about allowing the economy to flourish but I hate paying a premium on something that has been marked up already.

Btw dude, I got your side marker returned to me. Apparently, I am a retard and could not print correctly on the customs form. The postal worker was surprised it made it back to me, so I'm glad I'll at least get a chance to resend it.

Sorry for the non sequitor in your thread, OP :tiphat:

No worries, just send the side markers to me instead. I want some of the light up ones too :p

Working on product/pricing with JM Racing right now. Seem like really good guys to deal with. Very helpful and knowledgable. Understands the ins and outs of cross border shipping too, which is a plus for them to be sure.

Ended up going with Lightspeed Performance Innovations in Red Deer. They matched the best US pricing I was quoted and gave me a discount on Uprev dyno tuning as well. So far has been an excellent experience. Hopefully that carries through to the end.

Have to put in a good word for ordering from the Z store (Welcome To Motorsport & The Z Store! Nissan-Datsun 240Z-260Z-280Z-280ZX-300ZX(Z31/Z32)-350Z-370Z Parts!)

Put my order in on their website Friday and picked it up from fedex today. Not bad cross border shipping over the weekend with no delays, hassles or outrageous fees. Excellent service all around.

Now I can rip apart the new door handles and spray them mag black at my leisure then leave the stockers on the shelf in the garage in case ever want to go back.

While I'm only 8 years behind the last post, definitely worth calling out http://www.iraceautosports.com. They are mostly a reseller type deal but they have a warehouse and store a good variety of parts. Prices are super competitive and lower than original supplier in some cases (how do they do it).

Ordered from them a few times and been super happy.

Shoutout to Ryan at RJM too, chatted with him a few times and have his pedal assemblies, best upgrade ever for our Z's.
