totally understand your situation though. the saving grace with SRM on the sport model is that it rev match for you and wife when she drives which will be a lot easier to play with.

Yes, I realize that the base does not have rev match. I drove manuals for many years, as did my wife. None of those vehicles had rev match. We and the vehicles survived quite well without it, but I must admit that I find it intriguing. The good thing is that it is a feature that will never ever malfunction on the base.

Does anyone see a big downside to not having LSD for more or less normal street driving?
