Hey, it looks really nice! Is it possible for you to link me the necessary equipment/parts I need? I thought a double din kit was needed for these? I have a head unit in mind already and is also pioneer. Thanks!

You don't need a double din kit, you simply re-use the brackets that are currently installed on your stock radio. You do need a wire harness though:

I had an installer put the HU in,he said the double din kit WAS needed.I suppose it's possible to do without the kit,but to me that looks like it would be a real hassle trying to install without it.

Thanks. I'll probably just order a double din kit just in case then. I was gonna bring it to a shop instead of DIY too.

Not sure why it would be any trouble or hassle. You literally re-use the oem brackets. Thats weird

You could very well be correct,I'm just going by what my installer said,but if the aftermarket and stock base HU have the same mounting points then it should be fine.
