2015 Nismo front bumper

Anyone knows where is the cheapest place to get one of these here?

http://www.heavythrottle.com/wp-cont...mbnail-001.jpg

LMBmikeZ 03-26-2015 07:36 PM

might have best luck going cross boarder………:ugh2:

worth looking into anyways

zcarspirit 03-27-2015 10:11 AM

I think https://www.z1motorsports.com carry the full kit

and this one https://conceptzperformance.com/Cart...n.php?II=17060

mishuko 03-27-2015 11:03 AM

The bumper isn't expensive. ... the drl set will be twice as much as the fascia

I was looking at it and I figured it would be 2500 or so. If you end up getting it let us know your final price including installation

cooltoy 03-27-2015 03:34 PM

zefaulter 03-27-2015 03:56 PM

Thanks for the reply guys. Local dealer wants $525+tax for the bumper itself.
That's not too bad but I need to look up the rest of parts I need

grh_av8r 03-27-2015 04:37 PM

There's a few guys in Florida that have done it to their non-nismo Z's. Short of wheels I think it's one of the best appearance mods that can be done to the Z. Oh and the duck-tail spoiler from the Nismo too!

zefaulter 03-27-2015 05:20 PM

I need to find the thread with all parts for this.... Im still debating if I like it

LMBmikeZ 03-28-2015 05:04 AM

on the topic of nismo conversions: I am also doing one however it is a '13 nismo front

I picked it up a few weeks ago off Mr. Wolfenstein :happydance:

I feel your pain on researching all of the parts you need. With the nicer weather here I am going to throw it on (obviously take a pic or two) and then make my final call on what I can and cannot go with out. I have seen the conversions done both ways full replace and the other had some customization to make it work

Nice, that was something I wanted as well lol. You'll probably need new wheels too

fascia, red highlight inserts, hardware, drl are what you need IIRC... don't quote me on this but I remember reading in the general page that the stock undershroud should fit without modification.

not to mention you'll need to spend about 1000 or so to paint and blend the bumper

cooltoy 03-28-2015 11:51 AM

Wheel well liners are needed as well.

Wow that's pricey:icon14: For that kind of money, u can get a real nice JDM front bumper......?

You're right but OEM is always best fitment no matter what. After talking to my wife and friends, no one thinks this looks good. So we'll see...

If people are saying it doesn't look good? That's because they haven't seen it in person. As for the price.... I wouldn't buy it just because you can get something much better for same or less price.(for that price)

Luciano13 03-30-2015 11:35 AM

Remember.... This is the new face for the Nismo for probably the next 4 years. There will be many on the roads and many available to buy used in the future....
(if Nissan doesn't drop the Z)

mishuko 03-30-2015 12:30 PM

It's the drl that drives the cost way up.

But I saw one in person... Let's just say it's frigging sweet. White with red. I want to see a black with red in person to decide if my wallet wants to take the hit ahaha

LMBmikeZ 03-30-2015 04:13 PM

:iagree: white or black are the only two to choose from IMO

Luciano13 03-30-2015 05:37 PM

:iagree: too... in person the 2015 Nismo is absolutely beautiful! I've said it before.... Nissan did an amazing package on this Z:tiphat:

Zeetah 04-07-2015 04:58 PM

i still prefer the 09-14 nismo front bumpers, on that note i wonder how much it would cost to custom fit it, last time i checked, z1motorsports had the full parts package but dont ship to canada, and even if they did the price is a bit steep for me right now, wasnt the undertray alone going for atleast $1000? that can easily be duplicated. i want my front nismo so bad......

the 09-14 conversion will run you anywhere from $1000-2500 depending on what you do and don't do/buy or don't buy.

I am currently sourcing all of the parts for mine. I think next winter I will make the switch.

That's not bad at all, they are going for 870 usd at concept z. (With all the hardware, moldings etc of course)

Who's this local dealer if you don't mind me asking?:eekdance:

Yup Nissan at Yonge/steels not sure what they're called.

Boomer370 04-17-2015 09:57 AM

I'm thinking jumping into the NISMO front as well.

Undershroud fits no problem. The fender liners are the one item I recommend getting that is optional. I have the non-nismo liners but I'm waiting on the 2015 nismo liners they are on back order and I've been waiting almost a month now for them $44 usd a piece. This is all through Z1 handling my conversion so not a dealership.

ta-kid 04-26-2015 06:23 PM

So anyone done this yet here in Canada ?I would like to do my Roadster.

CanadianSteel 08-17-2015 12:12 AM

I'm thinking doing this either over the winter months or beginning of next season.

2015 Nismo Front Bumper

Hey guys,

I just did this conversion last week. Joe from Zspeed is the guy you want to get it from...

ZSpeed Performance
3868 Lightner Rd
Vandalia, Ohio 45377

Joe Allison
Phone: 937-506-7224
ZSpeed Performance Nissan Infiniti Specialist 240SX 300ZX 350Z G35 G37 370Z

He has all the parts you need, at a fair price:

FBM22-6GA0H Front bumper $387
62087-6GA0A MOULDING Red insert $25
62086-6GA0A MOULDING Red insert $25
62077-6GA0A MOULDING Vertical insert $9
62076-6GA0A MOULDING Vertical insert $9
62064-6GA0B PROTECTOR Fender liner filler $10
62064-6GA0A PROTECTOR Fender liner filler $10
62023-6GA0A Tow Hook Cover Piece $6
63844-6GA0A Liner Front Fender Drivers Side $49 (wrong part # here)
63844-6GA0A Liner Front Fender Passenger Side $49

I also went with the under shroud or splash shield...you don't need to, but you can then use ALL the connection points...fits absolutely perfect that way.

Best thing to do is have it shipped to a Kinekpoint (temporary shipping address) in Buffalo. Costs $6 and takes 5 min to setup. I used the "NY mailbox" one and it's less than 1km from the border.

Sunny at Simplex Auto Works will paint and install for $450, all in! He also hooked me up with some custom mesh work to replace the DRL's. I think it works well.

It's also worth mentioning, the 2015 Nismo front bumper is plug and play. The previous Nismo front bumpers are a lot more work and money!

Here is how mine looks...

Looks great! Did you check local prices for parts?

Make Way 08-29-2015 10:38 PM

I called a couple local dealerships. Their pricing was reasonable, but they told me Nissan Canada does not carry/stock Nismo anymore. In which case I would have to wait for it to come from Japan, as they will not ship from the US.

Don't shoot the messenger, as I would not be surprised if this is not completely accurate. In any event, they did not have them in stock and was not about to wait.

I'm glad you dig it!

honestly 90-95% of the dealers and their employees will just lie to you, even if all it would take is them asking someone else who does know or better yet do your job and reSEARCH on your little computer to see what is available.

Also price is not set each dealer can make up their own pricing it seems. I shopped around to any dealer within an hour of me and got 5 quotes on the Nismo parts I was looking for.

I got lucky and ran into a local car enthusiast driving a nice VW, long story short he tells me he is the parts guy at a NISSAN! dealership not to far from me and he was more then willing to help out. He also gave me the best price possible

In the end I only got the '15 Nismo sides and rear going with older Nismo front  can't wait to send it off to the body shop in next couple weeks

Make Way 08-30-2015 08:12 PM

That should be interesting. Be sure to send me pics of the whip!

I highly recommend Sunny, if your are looking for a body shop.

So, not sure if anyone looked into this or not, since the 2014 base already has DRLs wouldn't you only need the bumper cover and DRLs, not all the electrical to do this? The bumper seems reasonable and found the DRLs on courtesy Nissan parts website for around $550 each, which with mounting hardware would be around $1500 combined.

from what I gather electrics are already there just need the actual LED's which are completely different than the 13+ model DRL's.

the bumper + inserts are reasonable in price it's the DRL's that will set you back. 1 of them is probably going to cost you the same price as the bumper + inserts :shakes head:

cooltoy 01-25-2016 09:27 AM

Unless you get CS or EVO-R DRLs.

mishuko 01-26-2016 10:22 AM

or just photoshop them in right? :P
