Default Early Fall Cruise

We went for a cruise up Island last weekend in the 370Z and had a blast so we managed to get four of us together for a seven hour casual cruise up Island today. The weather was for sun today and a 90% chance of rain for Thanksgiving tomorow. It was meant to be! Took the 240Z this time since NXTAZEE hasn't seen it yet.

Top off the tank in the 240Z 'cause I've got the smallest tanks and the triple Mikuni's aren't exactly the most fuel efficient

Driving out past Shawnigan Lake and towards Mill Bay. Blurry but you get the idea. Pictures down a bumpy twisty road out the rear view mirror definately aren't as crisp as others

Quick stop in Maple Bay for some pics - oh and to turn around and get to the turn off we missed ;P

...and of course a final stop at Starbucks. Darek's fourth of the day

Oh yea and we checked out NXTAZEE's 370Z... well the new badges at least - the rest of the car is still being put together A little comparison between the very old school Datsun logo and the new 370Z. Just wanted to see how it looked against the blue. These are the new carbon fiber ones from MSA but it looks like they are the side marker lights from the 370Z with a carbon fiber surround. They are huge on the 240Z but the side marker light by itself might do the trick.... hmmmm.....

Anyhow the blue on the 240Z isn't the same as the 370Z but the black/blue combo does look good. Plus as NXTAZEE pointed out there isn't anything inside the emblem to clean which will make detailing a lot easier....

Don't worry everyone is looking at the Z badge. Besides I can bring up some hair dye next time I'm up. Ah you won't care then anyhow because you'll be matching YOUR NEW 2010 370Z!!! Whoot whoot

Pictures look great! I'm still hoping that I can get a few more times in behind the wheel before I really have to put the car away for winter. Currently, it has been below 0 and light snow everywhere. I'm envious when I see those fall pictures. Maybe I'll have to head back to my brothers in Comox again sooner than I thought.

For sure - we'll try and line up a little better and all go for a cruise. NXTAZEE will finally have his car too - can't wait!
