alignment issues
So I got new front tires and car aligned and the entire thing still handles like crap and something is rattling in the back. What do yall think about these before and after specs. I have h&r springs with the sport rims if that matters.

Looks ok. I would back the rear camber down to 1.6 or so. Do you have adjustable front control arms? The R front camber is looks like it could be backed off some.
No adjustable fronts, only rear adjustable arms. It looks like I hitting my control arm also.

No kidding lol. I worded that wrong. I think my rim or tire is hitting the piece that connects the hub to the control arm.
Need some spacers then sounds like.
Yea, I really don't want to go that route.
I appreciate everyone's input. I put 20mm spacers all the way around today so hopefully this will help with any rubbing issues. I am still noticing sketchy handling when I hit a bump in the road or a roughly grooved road. Does anything in these alignment specs make ya'll think it is causing the bad handling on bumps?

Toe is off. Should be zero... Rear Tires will be gone in 1000 miles
So I'm going to get it aligned again this weekend. I need them to get that front camber down to 1.6 and the rear toe to 0. Anything else?
wat are you riding on prokits? :ugh:
depending on your springs and ride height, no matter how aligned your car is, it's going to feel like crap until you stiffen up the ride (koni's). |
H&r race springs
yah, probably will feel better with some koni's with that. you're most-likely going out of the geometry range with stock dampers.
thus we all recommend the swifts if running stock dampers. |
I have not done lowering springs but, is it normal to have his right side that different from the left? The car didn't sustain and damage along the passenger side did it? Im asking because it looks odd on the alignment sheets and im curious if that is pretty standard when you lower them.
Yea it's normal. Front is fixable with front adjustable control arms. SPL is the way to go
Rear needs camber arms and toe bolts. Again buy it from SPL |
