Very cool! As I mentioned, chassis-reinforcement modifications are some of the most overlooked and under-rated modifications you can do to improve how the car drives overall. Can't wait to see more about this setup.
My question still remains, though...which NISMO models did these pieces come from the factory on? Are these on the Japanese-market 370Z NISMO which Nissan left out for the US-market? |

That is the Brain Box/Amp for the Bose system with Navigtion. Our shop car is a '09 Touring with the Sport Package. If you look to the right, you will also see the factory Bose subwoofer hidden in the spare tire. What is interesting is that there are ALOT of unused plugs on these cars. I would like to know what else the cars are prewired for. I know that the JDM cars have reverse looking cameras, rear wipers on the back glass as well as a few other JDM only features. |

Dustin, this might be a seemingly easy question, but I hope you can show us in your full write up how to remove that rear trim piece behind the seats. I've tried to remove it, and the ones on either side of the spare tire before and just can't seem to find 1 screw or something holding them in!

Thanks Modshack, I referred to it as a steering dampner due to riding bikes for so long. I m use to having the steering dampner on the column of some of the Yamaha's and Suzuki's I use to ride.
No problem with the install pics on disassembling the interior. I will get them up on the forum tomorrow. There was a trick to removing the center piece. It is a combination of lifting up and pulling towards the front of the vehicle. |
