Just went outside and checked my car. None of these braces are in my Nismo. :( should I be pissed?
Hmm...this is what I am wondering. Most NISMO edition 370Z have the Stabilizers that are being discussed in other threads. These might be additional braces from NISMO Japan. I would like for any other NISMO Z34 owners to chim in on this one and let me know, are these braces present on your car from the factory or not?
Nope. We don't get these on our nismo's. We get the body dampers, additional bracing of the front strut bar and the nismo sways, springs and struts. Plus pretty red stiching! Dustin, let us know when ya'll run the car on the track as I would love to know what the effects of these pieces are. By the way, I didn't see these listed on your site, do you have the other set for sale? I am headed to the track on the 30th. Maybe if you sold me a set i could test them out......?

Just for the record. My understanding is the Nismo 370Z has, 4 puck type chassis dampers, two piston type dampers, anti-roll bars, and two addition braces on the strut tower bar. These are the only changes as far as chassis rigidity goes that I am aware of.
Never seen the puck type dampers. Where did read about or see those? Inquiring minds want to know!
Are you referring to the valving in the dampner?
Sorry guys. I just fact checked myself. No puck type dampers. I must have been drunk reading Nissan website. They animated the lateral damper in two different colors. My eyes played tricks and I thought it was two different pieces all together. I apologize for any confusion I may have caused.
Anyway, back on topic. I like these pieces and since the US Spec Nismo doesn't have them Z1 now has a larger market to sell to.
Some of the US Spec Nismo's will have them soon!!Heh,Heh!
yeah I was reading this going - wah? I don't have any of this ****, I've personally been in all parts of my car that is pictured
Now the rear lower bar, does this replace the black stock ladder bar that bolts under the exhaust/driveshaft, or is it farther back than that? Reason being - my stock ladder bar is in the way, this might give me room |
