Now I'm going to ask MY question. With the install, how tight was the bushing on the swaybar? In other words, when lubed, was the bar able to rotate freely? If not, the bushing may have been too tight on the bar, causing binding! You can either grind down the "block" side of the bushing to make that fit nicer or put washers underneath the bracket (which is what I did) to give more clearance to the bushing, and less bind on the bar.

I think it's their "lateral locks" that they think are so clever, which are the culprit. Maybe i'll ditch those??

Sorry to bring this post back from 2015. But, it also means i did my homework.
It is now 2017, and i am wondering if this issue has been resolved with Whiteline. I don't think i will track my car, but I still want some trouble free (front only) sway bar. Last edited by Trips; 04-20-2017 at 01:04 AM. |
