Review: Whiteline Front anti-roll bar
Rating:
- Three thumbs down - Remember that Adam Sandler CD where he had the "piece of sh*t car" song? Read on... ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Review: The Whiteline anti-roll bar is a solid piece, not hollow, so its heavy. - If you give a crap about a couple pounds THAT low on the body, please show me your lap times that prove it made a difference... It comes with the necessary hardware to install and even a grease packet They come with "lateral locks" which are pretty much clamps to prevent the bar from moving. Neat trick. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- HOWEVER... The lateral locks also provide the excellent service of REMOVING the bushing from the FU*K#&^ bracket while you drive. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Summary:
Update 1 week later Whiteline bar is now uninstalled and the OEM bar is back on the car. Whiteline support has found another vehicle's bushing which has the appropriate lip to keep the sway bar in place, and fits the 370z bar size. Warranty claims will be sending me a brand new Front Sway Bar because i had to drive "bushing-less" for 300 miles, with the bar rattling over every f*ing bump. Results
New bar and DIFFERENT bushings are on their way, free of charge. Last edited by osbornsm; 10-09-2014 at 11:51 AM. |

I'll need to take a look at my bars, but I don't think that I have the bushing issue... My problem with the front bar was that I had to enlarge the mounting holes. The endlinks would not slide through the bar, forcing me to drill them out to fit.

i did, i just karate chopped it in half.
actually you need to set the collar locks to fit completely flush -0.5mm with the bar on both sides. ive not had the bushing push out since. but ive not tracked the car so dont know how well it hold ups on a road course. that said, if you only want the front bar, i suggest you get the stillen swaybar set and just use the front bar + stock bushings and clamps. |

I have been running these bars front and rear all year with 2 track days a month since Mar and haven't had any issues at all. The powder coating was a little thick on one of the front end link holes and needed to be reamed a little.

Similar to you pic. If i remember right turned them so the lock had the most bite against the bushing keeper. I gotta get under mine again later this week to do the oil and will snap a pic

Jez...i thought it was just pushing a little bit. Thats damn near completly out. Pain in the butt but you coyld modify a couple of thick washers to put between the lock and the bushing...IDK just spit balling
