my car had a click too on deceleration and acceleration when I would first come on/off the gas. the dealer knew what it was and packed grease into something in the axle and fixed it. Its been about 15,000 miles and the click hasn't come back. some searching for axle click was all I had to do to find a TSB.

Thread revival, but I will be doing some front end work soon. New rotors, pads, lines, & fluid. While I'm in there I'll lube the end link bushings. I am suffering from the rear axle click now, as well as some issue with a fluid level sensor failing.

I need to take it to the dealer and see what is throwing the light. I'll get a brake light that goes on under acceleration, and if it stays on for 2-3 seconds the VDC & traction lights stay on. All fluids are full, and the issue worsens as it gets colder. Warm days are no problem. Also when I park on a hill the light is triggered, so it has to be a fluid or sensor issue I'm assuming.

Just thought I'd put my 2cents in on this....Last summer I had a click in the rear end, every time I touch the gas or let off...the dealer said it was the rear brakepads so they did a caliper service and it completely fixed it. I was worried it was the Axel click I've read about.

I have a click in the front now...just did all new pads and resurfaced the rotors but its still doing it. Gonna have to check the links and sway bar bushings.

Thanks to the OP! Hopefully your fix works.
