Hey Guys, I just ordered my HKS Hipermax 4 GT coilovers. I just want to know if anybody here is rolling with one of these coils? And how was the ride?

Ok. I just finished installing my HKS HIPERMAX IV GT Coilovers today and this is how they look out of the box pre-set by HKS. I cant say nothing else but Wow!!! Driving is very comportable compare to the stock one.

HKS makes some great coilovers. One of the best shocks on the market!

Sorry for the necro bump, but I just got these and was wondering how the alignment was after the springs settled. I know the factory drop for those coilovers is about 3/4in and I am wondering if I will need toe bolts and camber arms to get back into spec.

For the stock height you don't need camber kits. But if you want to go lower like I did you will definitely need the camber kits.

HKS coilovers are awesome. I have nothing but good experiences on them.

What's the difference between the HKS 4's and the HKS 3's?

I'm also wondering about this too.

Different valving. Realistically, not a damn thing.

I rode in my friend's car with 3s and it rode really well

Spring rates are the same, I think. They may have updated adjuster pins or something but not too much different.

I have yet to have a vendor respond when I ask. Makes you wonder.

There are updates to the pins and valving. Think of it as a more refined unit.

I just installed mine. Gotta get the car aligned asap.
