Default Small dilemma...Swift Springs/Tein S-Tech's

So, its my birthday today

My sister and her boyfriend decided to buy me springs.

They knew I've been wanting Swifts...but when they went to grab them, the guy working there at the shop told him to go with Tein S instead of the Swifts, because hes had a lot of people return the Swifts after several months, they complained about the springs sagging. So they ended up picking up the Teins based on the guys recommendation.

I did a lot of research in the last 3 hours about them [and Swift also] and most people seemed to prefer Swift over Tein [on other car forums that is, not many threads about Tein here]. For me, the look of the drop with Swifts is perfectly perfect.

I saw pics of the drop the Tein and man its beautiful too [this is on a Nismo]
Nismo Lowered on Tein S Tech Lowering Springs

Anyone with Teins S that can comment on the springs? Comfort/Ride/Performance wise. I went through every Tein thread on this forum [roughly 19 not including WTB/For Sale thread], but none of those threads were able to answer my question. People mainly posted about how perfect the drop is lol.

Any input would be appreciated. Also, I am not planning on tracking the car.

s-techs i had on previous cars not only sagged, they also rusted and paint chipped off.
tein and tanabe are like the worst springs imho as far as paint chipping and lousy
spring rates.

the swifts i run on my dd has settled a little bit since 2yrs ago, but not sagged..and
no chips even through 2 salty winters. swifts and prokits have proven durability.
prokits usually run better with aftermarket dampers and swaybars, swifts feel damn
good with stock dampers.

swifts ftw.

I'll second that^. Looking at the pics in the other thread, I got the same drop using the Swift's, and the ride is awesome (firm, but not punishing). Can't go wrong with the Swifts.

On a subaru wrx i had

Teins- worst ride ever, no performance at all, harsh ride, they sucked

Changed to swifts

Perfect drop, ride was not harsh, definitely more stable and performance oriented than the stechs

This is pretty much the same feedback ive seen on other cars as well

I'll go for swifts anytime of the way!
Im not saying this because i would offer you my swift R-spec used for 15k miles.
The only reason Im selling it is I went towards coils.
Im selling them for $200 local
If your interested pm me your zip for shipping quote.

Everyone has Swifts, I went Tien. In should of gone with a coilover system just for ease of installation. I have not had my Tiens for a year but they are not sagging, chipping or anything negative to say about them.
The Swifts do have a higher spring rate its the only thing I looked at. I had really high spring rates on my 240 and didn't want a rough ride, I know shocks do have something to do with the ride as well. After building a race car I wanted luxury so lower spring rate is nicer for me.

In this case follow the masses. I love my Swifts. The lowering is just enough, the dd ride is great, and they can handle dives in to hard turns. Yes, I wish they lowered another 1/4" but that is what coilovers are for.

I just installed Swifts and I absolutely love them. I went with the masses and they were right. I have the 13' touring sport with the Euro tuned suspension. If anything, my ride quality improved.

I've had 2 sets of Tein's. Never had chipping or anything. It just drops more than advertised. They're still progressive springs which was great for me.

you dont live in the snowbelt state that's probably why. the paint wouldnt last one salty snow season on my dd. that was with tein and tanabe. no such issue on swifts and eibachs.
