I didn't wanna bump this thread, but I wanted to say thanks for all the replies. I think I'm going to return them and get Swifts instead.

Yeah, to the OP. That shop must have had a bunch of overstock on Teins or really wants to push them. If they sell both brands they have to know Swift is better.

What they said is the opposite. Teins are the ones that sag over time. NOT the Swifts. Swifts use a patented material to make their springs which is totally different than the other companies. As everyone else has said on this thread and on this forum Swifts are the only way go to.

PM me with any questions. We sell these all the time and have had no complaints. Everyone says they should have came from Nissan with the springs installed.

That's exactly what I told my friend that got them for me. He's just trying to push the Teins. No one ever complains about Swifts. On any thread. Btw the guy that sold him the Teins told him that he had a contract with Swift, but due to people returning them a lot, contract was terminated....or so he claims, which is think is straight BS.

Well anyway, my friend was able to return the Teins back to him, and now in the process of getting Swifts! Sh*t yeah!!

We have sold hundreds of sets and not one return on a set of Swifts. So I am not sure what is going on there.

But looks like you went with the right choice! Enjoy the springs man

Hopefully this thread helps others in the future when contemplating between Teins and Swifts...assuming they use the search feature!

my teins never sagged o n my old IS300, nor did they sag in the 50k miles i had them on my nismo.

they never chips either.

plus the drop height and spring rate worked great on my car. to each his own i guess.

for me, this happend 4 times including twice on their coilovers so no more tein for me... well besides their mechanics gloves which is kinda nice for driving. i ran df210's (tanabe) on my dd and that was plenty. swift is the way to go.

I had Tein S-Techs on my S2000 before I put the Swift Spec-R's on my 370Z. Shortly thereafter I got a set of the Swifts for the S2000. On the S2000 the ride was bouncy and the drop was uneven with the Teins. Now with the Swifts they are comfy and sporty. The drop was not as much, but no big deal to me.

My experience over the last 11 years must be a fluke then.
