Painted calipers....adjustment needed?
4 Attachment(s)
So I got my calipers painted last week...it rain bad the other day and today I got a low tire pressure light so I went to go put air...when I look at my tires I saw rust marks on the rotors where it looks like the caliper does not make contact with ...is this normal? Or do I need to adjust the calipers? I've attached pictures for reference. Thanks :tiphat: front driver Attachment 92827 rear driver Attachment 92828passenger rearAttachment 92829passenger front Attachment 92830

Pretty sure that's normal. At least that's what mine look like with both OEM and aftermarket rotors. The calipers are held in place with big 22mm bolts, so I'm not sure there's much adjustment to be made.
Thanks for reminding me that it bothers me  :icon17: |

It's been so long since I detailed my wheels, I had forgotten :ugh: I hate it when I wash my car and the rotors get all rusty. But at least you can just brake to take off most of the rust. That little ring and the slots in my current slotted rotors are always rusty though :( |

I purchased the EBC Ultimax slotted front rotors a little over two years ago. In hindsight I probably should have just gotten the Z1 slotted rotors for both front and rear for slightly more $$$. I'll probably get the Z1 rear rotors whenever I decide to replace those.

Cool...I'll probably get the Z1 2 PCs rotors as well but I'm not sure about the 2pc rear I've read that some people are having trouble keeping their e brake on with those so idk yet lol

yah, that's unforunately normal on the rotors.
