RS-R springs?
 

Has anyone had any experience with RS-R products, especially springs?

I am looking at doing a simple drop with some decent sways to get me started.

ive had experience with RS-R in the past. good craftsmanship. i hear good things about their springs too.

check the spring rates before purchase.

I'm a fan of Eibach/TEIN on springs, almost always. Tanabe is awesome too, their springs just don't sell too much though.

tanabe imho is kinda sucky in the paint department. ive had tanabe lowering springs DF210's in the past and the paint just chipped away (in chunks) at the progressive coils in no time (less than 3months).

where as eibach has been chip free for about 5yrs now.
tein's are okay too but check their spring rates. it seems like their engineers just
puts together some assortment of springs as a kit and sells it for a car.

not sure if i got a bad batch but tanabe does not qualify in my
future to-buy department.

I was about to post a thread on this and did a search first, so I'll add to this.

Does RS*R make a lowering spring for the 370Z? I liked the ones for the 350 and I want a set for my 370... Their US site has no info, but someone said they are avail in Japan???

basing it off the 350 application, this is exactly what i want. I pray they make it for the 370 soon for i need to drop this boat!!!

What setup would give a smooth comfortable ride, as for as springs, shocks, coilovers ? Sorry for the super noob question; i've got the sport pgk, hotchkis sways, and 20" rims and tire setup of 255/30/20 front and 305/25/20 rear. I had eibach pro kit on but it was bumpy as hell, i thought taking them out would help but no. Maybe tires with more profile would help, somthing like 255/35/20 f. 305/30/20 r.... Sorry for highjacking this thread for a min. It's driving me nuts... any help is appreciated. Thanks again

Since you tried Eibachs your only other option is to go coilovers. You could go H&R but those are 1.2" drop and I'm not sure if they are stiffer than Eibachs or not. Not a lot of options with springs.

The RS*R's were great on the 350Z with a mild .6" drop and were linear which were nice and stiff. Exactly what I am looking for in a drop and handling.

Should the Ebach ride smoother than stock or the other way around ?

H&R springs are the best!! All the euro background I have an H&R always outperforms
Eibach! There are other threads here also stating the Eibachs start to get bouncy w/ wear! I'm running the H&R now and they feel just like stock but with 1.3" drop. Just need rear camber kit ($200). Front isn't needed.

i just wish the h&r dropped a little bit less.

Well I decided to take the plunge and try the RS*R Ti2000 springs for my 370Z! They are for the 350Z and are linear springs with a .6" drop. Not sure if it will also be a .6 drop on the 370Z but that is what I wanted, a mild drop. I did not want to go Eibach route with a .9" drop and do a progressive spring as I heard they are bouncy. I used the RS*R down springs from a 350Z on my G35C and they were awesome and gave me a 1.1" drop, but I suspect these will work fine on my car with around a .6" drop like the 350. Wish my luck!

Interesting. I was thinking the other day how I want a SLIGHT drop (no more than .75").

wow...so do the 350 springs fit the 370 without any modification? please keep us posted. I'm very interested in this as well!
