swift and spl parts + spacers question?

so i just got my swifts, spl upper control arms, spl camber arms, and lockout bolt installed yesterday! ride feels real nice, only got about 10 miles of driving but

so i just got my swifts, spl upper control arms, spl camber arms, and lockout bolt installed yesterday!

ride feels real nice, only got about 10 miles of driving but the springs are awesome so far.

thinking of leaving it and just buying another lockout kit to go in the right spot unless there's a reason I shouldn't do that?

I don't get it, everywhere I check the bolts are installed in what holds the springs in( spring bucket)

what's circled
by drilling or dremeling out the old bolt holes.

none of that was done on my car, where the square plates are is where they were installed and that's a different location.


shouldn't it go here like the DIY says it should?

It looks to me that they installed it in the wrong location.

The spl camber arm has the adjustment built into already making it useless where they installed it.

The camber kit replaces that circled bolt that holds the rear spring

The ones with the squares are lockouts... You install lockouts for adjustable arms. OP, you need different toe bolts for more adjustment, OR replace the rear spring buckets/midlinks/toe arm with SPLs, then you replace the ones you have circled with lockouts.

From what I've read. You'd want to install it on the spring bucket location to adjust toe. If you go SPC bolts, you will have to elongate the hole to allow for more adjustability.

yeah it was a mechanic that just got confused on location, i noticed when he told me he didnt have to drill.

the bolts in the camber arm are the spl eccentric lockout kit the stock toe bolts have not been moved.

everything right now is tight and alignment is holding even tho i have a little more toe then id like it i dont think its too much so shouldn't it be fine for a dd untill Saturday?

Yeah, you'll be fine DD-ing it. After installing my SPL arms and not seeing it worth a single damn without better toe bolts. I decided to go balls to the wall and got myself some SPL midlinks to lock my suspension completely.

I agree, I luckily snagged a new set for $400 through FB. And synolimit is selling a barely used set for $500. I figure over the years it'll be worth it in tires and alignments (I have free alignments, just sick and tired of driving to them)

The other thing I don't know is if you use the SPC eccentric bolts... Can you then switch to the SPL midlinks or SPL toe arms (depending on suspension setup) later? Or no because those holes have been made larger...?
