If you change the rear, it will mess with the toe up front. Funny how that is but it has been that way forever. Well, ever since 4 wheel alignments.

Front toe changes due to the thrust angle change by adjusting the rear. Its not that the actual tie rods or suspension angles change in the front, but the rear changes how the whole vehicle tracks. So the front has to be adjusted to be in the same "center point" so to speak.
