I just wanna know why these rotors arent cut down more where the pads don't make contact or at the least zinc coated

it isn't the fault of the rotors that the pads aren't big enough to cover the entire rotor, and I suspect that these rotors are appropriate for more that just the Z. The pad contact area appears to me to be very similar, if not the same, as the stock rotor contact area.
